2017 Ford Super Duty Engines

The Super Duty 6.2L gas V8 engine is more heavy work-capable than ever—no other gas-powered full-size pickup delivers as much torque. The truck also offers a second diesel engine option for heavy-duty stamina, a 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 with best-in-class horsepower and torque. Both options offer more pulling power than the competition.

2017 Ford Super Duty Towing Capacity

The all-new Super Duty offers Best-in-Class Conventional Towing, with a towing capacity of 21,000 pounds. However, being the best of the best doesn’t stop there—the 2017 Super Duty is also best-in-class for 5th wheel/gooseneck towing, payload, and gross combination weight rating. The Super Duty also offers class-exclusive features like trailer reverse guidance, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a 110v/400w AC inverter outlet.

2017 Ford Super Duty Aluminum Body

The 2017 Ford Super Duty is the toughest Ford Super Duty ever with its new body construction. The truck is built with high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy that slashed the overall weight of the body. Those weight savings were then reinvested into the truck where it counts the most—stronger axles, better steering and chassis components, and an all-new fully boxed frame. The frame is built with over 95 percent high-strength steel and is 24 times stiffer than the previous frame. The result? A pickup that’s stronger than ever before, and still up to 350 pounds lighter.
