Changes and Updates for the 2017 Ford F-150

If you’re into pickup trucks, you’re at least aware of how the game-changing 2015 Ford F-150 burst onto the scene with an all-new aluminum body and set a new standard of excellence with its EcoBoost engine offerings. But did you know that the F-150 continues to improve each model year since the big redesign? Here’s a rundown of some of the key changes to the 2017 Ford F-150:

  • New EcoBoost V6 engine option that increases torque by 30 pound-feet over the current version
  • With the new V6 comes a 10-speed transmission, developed to offer unprecedented performance and efficiency
  • Auto Start-Stop on the new EcoBoost helps you save fuel even more by shutting off the engine when the vehicle is at a stop – unless you happen to be in tow or 4WD mode.
