2015 Ford Super Duty F-350 and 2015 Ford Transit Connect

The Ford Transit Connect and the Ford F-350 Super Duty have won Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Awards for 2015. This honor recognizes vehicles based on the highest projected residual values after five year based on their average True Market Value when sold new.

The Transit and F-350 are typically used for commercial purposes. Residual value is the largest factor when determining the total cost of ownership when leasing a vehicle. A vehicle’s residual value is the amount of money you’re able to buy a car for at the end of a lease, that is if you want to purchase the vehicle after the lease ends.

Other vehicles in the Ford lineup like the 2015 Ford Mustang and the 2015 Ford F-150 also retain their value well.

2015 Ford Transit Connect

The 2015 Ford Transit Connect is the Edmunds.com 2015 Best Retained Value Small Commercial Van. The retained value of the 2015 Ford Transit Connect after five years is 47-percent.

A compact and easily maneuverable minivan, the Transit Connect is perfect for darting around through a city environment making deliveries or trucking passengers to and from a destination. The interior of the Ford Transit Connect is surprisingly upscale and advanced for a vehicle typically used for commercial ventures. The Transit is a great choice for a commercial vehicle or used an alternate for a family minivan.

Consumers look forward to the release of the 2016 Ford Transit.

2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty

The 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty also won the Edmunds.com 2015 Best Retained Value award for a heavy duty truck. The retained value of the 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty is an eye-popping 58-percent.

Like the 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty, the new 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty is a beast. An optional 6.7-liter turbodiesel provides 440 horsepower and 860 pound feet of torque. When properly equipped, the F-350 Super Duty is able to an impressive 26,500 pounds!
