2018 Ford Expedition, EcoSport: New Entertainment Features –

As the largest SUV on the Ford lineup, the Expedition is truly a catch. The available features list seems endless, and it’s getting even longer. The 2018 model will offer an available dual-headrest rear seat entertainment system with monitors to watch movies and videos. The best part is that it can also stream TV shows and live sporting events when it’s connected with your home cable or satellite system.

The system is called EVO, and it’s designed to connect with SlingPlayer. This allows users to connect through their mobile device to the Slingbox system at home to enjoy cable on the go. Other connection options are also available including a DVD player, HDMI, USB or other streaming devices. Connectivity doesn’t stop inside the vehicle; the Expedition also features an available Wi-Fi hotspot that has a range of about 50 feet.

As for the all-new compact EcoSport, it’s moving in a direction to best fit the needs of the future. Instead of a CD player, it’ll feature a unique horizontal storage bin over the glove box for mobile devices. Streaming entertainment will be the norm with the EcoSport offering an available Wi-Fi hotspot and SYNC Connect with FordPass.
