As the weather starts cooling down and the leaves start changing colors, you can enjoy two treasured autumn traditions — pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Check out these two locations in the Grand Junction-area.  

Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch/Pumpkin Fest • Studt’s Farm 

October 1 – 31 (Pumpkin Fest on October 29) 

During October, visitors to Studt’s Farm in Grand Junction can enjoy the pumpkin patch, pumpkin jump, hay mountain with slides and climbing, animal train (tractor pulled ride), horse-drawn hayrides, pony rides, Dark Acres Haunted Corn Maze, petting zoo, interactive corn cannons and zip-line. Pumpkin Fest will be Sunday, October 29, with pumpkin demolition derby, pumpkin carving/smashing, Kids Candy Trail and prizes. Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch • Moon Farm 

September 30 – October 31 

Head to Moon Farm in Fruita and enjoy their themed corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides, haunted straw maze, creepy clown house, haunted castle, petting zoo and cultural/historical play houses. (1360 18 1/2 Road Fruita, CO 81521)
